E&l Verification

Sigma provides comprehensive E&l verification for the manufacturing/fabrication of oilfield (midstream), refinery (downstream), and petrochemical plant equipment. This includes the ongoing QA/QC oversight of the manufacturing/fabrication, inspection, and testing for the constructed systems as follows:

  1. Certify the correct implementation of the ITP
  2. Supervise compliance with the QA/QC Plan
  3. Administer correct versions of all P&IDs, wiring diagrams, instrumentation blueprints, and engineering drawings on-site
  4. Maintain QA/QC documentation, procedures, and equipment that personnel use in tests, controls, and inspections
  5. Manage documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections
  6. Verify workers’ certifications and qualifications as applicable
  7. Verify any special processes for construction/installation on-site
  8. Inspect materials, equipment, and construction/installation on-site
  9. Inspect installation of instruments
  10. Inspect cable trays, cable laying, and cable identification tags/labels
  11. Inspect fiber optic cabling, connections, waveguides, and splices
  12. Inspect power transformers, switchboards, accumulator batteries, socket outlets, and lighting systems
  13. Inspect all connections for material, operational rating, and dimension compliance
  14. Test pneumatic signal connections
  15. Test continuity and insulation resistance
  16. Test communication functionalities
  17. Complete all loop checks
  18. Complete tests of functional instruments
  19. Complete punch-list tasks
  20. Calibrate safety valves
  21. Calibrate instruments
  22. Update As-Built drawings
  23. Witness any inspections performed by others
  24. Witness all Run Tests, Controls Tests, and the Final Acceptance Test
  25. Issue QA/QC compliance records and non-conformance reports
