E&l Verification
Sigma provides comprehensive E&l verification for the manufacturing/fabrication of oilfield (midstream), refinery (downstream), and petrochemical plant equipment. This includes the ongoing QA/QC oversight of the manufacturing/fabrication, inspection, and testing for the constructed systems as follows:
- Certify the correct implementation of the ITP
- Supervise compliance with the QA/QC Plan
- Administer correct versions of all P&IDs, wiring diagrams, instrumentation blueprints, and engineering drawings on-site
- Maintain QA/QC documentation, procedures, and equipment that personnel use in tests, controls, and inspections
- Manage documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections
- Verify workers’ certifications and qualifications as applicable
- Verify any special processes for construction/installation on-site
- Inspect materials, equipment, and construction/installation on-site
- Inspect installation of instruments
- Inspect cable trays, cable laying, and cable identification tags/labels
- Inspect fiber optic cabling, connections, waveguides, and splices
- Inspect power transformers, switchboards, accumulator batteries, socket outlets, and lighting systems
- Inspect all connections for material, operational rating, and dimension compliance
- Test pneumatic signal connections
- Test continuity and insulation resistance
- Test communication functionalities
- Complete all loop checks
- Complete tests of functional instruments
- Complete punch-list tasks
- Calibrate safety valves
- Calibrate instruments
- Update As-Built drawings
- Witness any inspections performed by others
- Witness all Run Tests, Controls Tests, and the Final Acceptance Test
- Issue QA/QC compliance records and non-conformance reports
