Mr. Shafi has been in the field of Mechanical Integrity Assessment and the Nondestructive Testing/Evaluation disciplines within the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, construction, and steel manufacturing industries since 1991. He established Beta Inspection Services LLC in 2007 and served as the Managing Director until 2014. During which time Mr. Shafi increased Beta Inspection yearly and expanded into the other GCC countries and Morocco.

In addition, Mr. Shafi has extensive expertise with Heat Treatment. He has served as a Stress Relief / Post Weld Heat Treatment Subject Matter Expert on numerous major projects in the Middle East and Africa.

In 2017, he founded Sigma Oilfield Solution LLC in Abu Dhabi, UAE with our sister company, Sigma Oilfield Services - Cairo, Egypt founded 1998. Mr. Shafi holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delhi and has resided in Abu Dhabi for the last thirty years.
