Sigma provides ASNT/CSWIP/PCN Level I, II, & III technicians for Liquid (Dye) Penetrant Testing (PT) to detect defects and assess weld quality.

PT is a widely applied and low-cost inspection method used to check surface-breaking anomalies in all non-porous materials (metals, plastics, or ceramics). The penetrant may be applied to non-ferrous or ferrous materials. PT is used to detect casting, forging, and welding surface anomalies such as hairline cracks, surface porosity, leaks in new products, and fatigue cracks on in-service components.

Certified professionals are available for call-out or long-term assignments. Sigma provides turnkey Liquid (Dye) Penetrant inspection and reporting services complete with equipment, consumables, vehicles (mileage), and accommodations required to perform PT.
